Pro-Kremlin deepfakes put surrender rhetoric in the mouths of Ukrainian lawmakers

Pro-Kremlin Telegram channels are circulating AI-generated deepfakes depicting two Ukrainian lawmakers calling for peace negotiations. While these videos have been debunked, the clips reached over 130,000 views and underscore how synthetic media is being used to manipulate public perception and erode trust in official information.
