Cloudflare Traces Turns the Proxy Layer into OpenTelemetry Spans, with New Volume-Based Pricing

Cloudflare has launched an open beta for Traces, a tool that automatically generates OpenTelemetry spans for traffic moving through its proxy layer, including security rules, cache, and origin requests. By adopting the W3C traceparent standard, the service allows developers to integrate these logs into existing observability platforms.
