Would you host part of an AI data center in your home?
Sunrun has launched a pilot program that installs small-scale computing units inside residential homes to support artificial intelligence workloads. By utilizing these home-based servers, the company aims to create a distributed network that provides additional processing power for data-intensive tasks. Customers participating in the program receive compensation for hosting the hardware, which leverages the company’s existing solar and battery storage infrastructure.
