Interaction Scaling: Grounding the Third Axis of Test-Time Compute
Researchers have introduced a new method called interaction scaling that allows AI models to incorporate external feedback during the reasoning process, rather than relying solely on their internal, static parameters. By integrating real-world signals into test-time computation, this approach aims to overcome the performance limitations of existing models that are restricted to isolated, self-contained chains of thought. This transition from purely internal processing to interactive verification could improve accuracy and reliability for complex tasks requiring external data validation.
