Offering Zero Data Retention for frontier models

OpenAI is reaffirming its Zero Data Retention policy for eligible API customers, which prevents the company from storing user data for model training. To further address privacy concerns, the firm is also previewing Private Safety Processing, a method that enables advanced AI safety monitoring without retaining or accessing sensitive user information. These initiatives aim to provide enterprise and developer clients with greater control over their inputs, helping businesses integrate frontier models while maintaining strict internal data governance standards.
