Europe Needs to Spend $3T to Cut Foreign Tech Reliance

A new report from Bloomberg Intelligence estimates that Europe must invest $3 trillion by 2035 to decrease its dependence on foreign suppliers for artificial intelligence and other key technologies. This funding gap highlights the scale of the challenge the region faces as it attempts to build domestic infrastructure and supply chains to gain greater technological autonomy. Significant capital will be required to shift reliance away from international partners and establish a competitive independent presence in these critical sectors.
