Tarini Padmanabhuni founded the startup DetectifAI after her grandfather was targeted by a voice deepfake scam. The company is developing AI models designed to operate directly on mobile devices to identify fraudulent audio in real time. The startup is currently participating in the Startup Battlefield competition to showcase its technology.
