Cloudflare Announces Kitesurf, a Browser Engine for Agents

Cloudflare has introduced Kitesurf, a browser engine designed specifically to run automated tasks within isolated WebAssembly and Rust environments on Cloudflare Workers. By supporting the Chrome DevTools Protocol, the tool allows developers to use existing automation frameworks like Playwright and Puppeteer to manage headless web browsing directly at the edge.
