AlphaGenome Atlas: A predictive map of every possible DNA letter change in the human genome
Google DeepMind has released the AlphaGenome Atlas, a comprehensive database mapping the potential biological effects of 9 billion single-letter DNA variants across the human genome. By predicting how these individual mutations influence molecular functions, the tool aims to decode segments of DNA that were previously poorly understood. This resource provides scientists with a systematic way to identify genetic drivers of disease, potentially accelerating the development of new medical treatments and clinical diagnostics.
