Meta restricts use of Claude Code and Codex to keep rival AI out of its training data

Meta has prohibited its engineers from using Anthropic’s Claude Code and OpenAI’s Codex to prevent code generated by rival models from entering its own training pipelines. This restriction aims to maintain the integrity of Meta’s internal development data by ensuring its software models are not trained on content created by competing AI systems.
