AI lab offers free plumbing and HVAC repairs across three cities to train AI robots — wearable sensors record video of repair work for robotics training, free services also include electrical work, air duct cleaning, and carpet cleaning

An artificial intelligence research lab is providing free plumbing, electrical, and HVAC repair services in three cities to gather training data for robotics. Technicians wear sensors that record video of their work, which the lab will use to teach AI systems how to perform physical maintenance tasks in real-world environments.
