Anthropic slashes Claude Fable 5 limits in Max and Team Premium and pushes Pro users toward API pricing

Starting July 20, Anthropic will include Claude Fable 5 in Max and Team Premium plans at half the standard usage limits, while simultaneously reducing the base limits for those plans by one-third. Pro subscribers will receive a one-time $100 credit before moving to a pay-per-use model based on API pricing. This change adjusts the availability of the model for paid users, shifting the cost structure for high-volume accounts toward consumption-based billing rather than fixed monthly subscriptions.
