After multiple deaths and injuries, NHTSA is investigating comma.ai

The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration has launched an investigation into comma.ai following reports of five crashes where vehicles equipped with the company's aftermarket driver-assistance technology collided with stationary or slow-moving traffic. The probe seeks to determine whether these devices, which allow cars to perform steering and speed adjustments, pose an unreasonable risk to safety.
