Black Forest Labs' open-weights image model FLUX 3 Image Klein runs on consumer GPUs with just 8 GB of VRAM

Black Forest Labs has released FLUX 3 Image Klein, a 5.6-billion-parameter open-weights image model capable of native 4K resolution and complex editing tasks. By reducing parameter count by 38 percent compared to its predecessor, the model can now operate on consumer hardware with 8 GB of VRAM. This update lowers the technical barrier for high-quality generative imaging, allowing users to run advanced models locally without requiring expensive enterprise-grade GPUs.
