US company’s AI lets Ukraine’s cheap kamikaze drones track targets on their own
A 100 million dollar agreement will equip 50,000 Ukrainian kamikaze drones with United States-developed artificial intelligence for autonomous target tracking. This technology allows drones to identify and engage objectives without constant human guidance, which is essential for maintaining accuracy in electronic warfare environments where radio signals are frequently jammed. By integrating this software, Ukraine can improve the effectiveness of low-cost drone fleets against armored vehicles and defensive positions on the front lines.
