OpenAI open-sources Codex Security CLI to help developers find and fix vulnerabilities from the command line

OpenAI has released the Codex Security CLI, an open-source command-line tool designed to automatically identify and remediate security vulnerabilities within code repositories. Formerly used internally under the name Aardvark, the system has reportedly resolved over 3,000 critical flaws within the company's own infrastructure. The public release allows developers to integrate these automated security checks directly into their existing workflows to address potential software risks.
