Perplexity Open-Sources SPACE, a Firecracker MicroVM Sandbox for AI Agents

Perplexity has released its SPACE sandbox platform as open-source software under the Apache 2.0 license. The tool enables developers to run AI agent tasks within isolated Firecracker microVMs, allowing for granular control over network traffic and security credentials during code execution.
