Meta made its own AI detection system. It should have just used Google’s

Meta has introduced Content Seal, an invisible watermarking tool designed to identify and flag images generated by artificial intelligence on its platforms. The company launched this technology in response to a directive from its Oversight Board, which previously urged Meta to implement internal systems to help curb the spread of deceptive AI-generated media.
