Azure DevOps Remote MCP Server Reaches GA, Without Support for Claude, ChatGPT, or Cursor

Microsoft has released its Azure DevOps Remote MCP Server for general availability, allowing users to access repositories, pipelines, and work items through a hosted endpoint without local installations. However, the service currently excludes integration with platforms like Claude, ChatGPT, and Cursor due to missing support for dynamic client registration within Microsoft Entra. This limitation prevents these AI tools from authenticating with the new server, restricting its immediate utility for teams relying on those specific development environments.
