Japan Earmarks Another $944 Million for Rapidus in AI Chip Race

The Japanese government is providing an additional 150 billion yen, roughly 944 million dollars, to the chip manufacturer Rapidus Corp. This funding supports the company's objective to develop advanced semiconductor production capabilities domestically to better compete with established international industry leaders.
