Spotify expands AI remix and covers project with Merlin partnership

Spotify has partnered with the independent label representative Merlin to expand its forthcoming AI-powered music tool. The platform will allow users to create AI-generated remixes and covers of tracks from participating artists while implementing a royalty system to ensure rights holders are compensated.
