AI tools for breast cancer detection fall short of radiologists' expectations

A survey of members from the Society of Breast Imaging reveals that many radiologists find FDA-approved AI tools for breast cancer detection less effective than anticipated. While about half of the respondents currently use these tools, significantly fewer clinicians report improved recall rates than expected.
