Expanding AI access and cyber defense for federal, state, local, and tribal governments

OpenAI and the General Services Administration are partnering to offer eligible federal, state, local, and tribal governments fee-free licenses and a 50% discount on usage costs. This initiative also includes expanded support for cyber defense efforts within these public sectors. By lowering financial and technical barriers, the agreement aims to accelerate the integration of AI tools into government operations while bolstering the digital security infrastructure of public agencies.
