Daily AI usage in the U.S. has more than doubled in just six months

Daily use of AI tools among American adults grew from 8 percent to 19 percent between March and August 2026. This trend reflects a shift toward more frequent interaction with artificial intelligence, as weekly usage rates simultaneously declined during the same period.
