Nvidia will officially bring DLSS 5 to older GPUs — but won’t give gamers full control

Nvidia is expanding support for DLSS 5 beyond its latest RTX 50 GPUs to include older hardware models. Although the company intended to restrict the AI rendering technology to its newest cards and developer control, unofficial modifications have already enabled the software to function on previous generations of hardware.
