Researchers have introduced ThyroidXAgent, an AI system designed to automate the complete workflow of thyroid ultrasound analysis, including lesion localization, measurement, and diagnostic reporting. By integrating these tasks into a single agentic model, the system aims to provide better support for clinical review compared to existing tools that typically address these diagnostic steps in isolation.
