Iris-mini and Iris-pro are the strongest open-weight search agents in their class

The AllSpark team has released Iris-mini and Iris-pro, a pair of open-source search agents based on the Qwen model architecture. These models currently outperform other open-weight search agents in their respective size categories according to developer benchmarks. The research indicates that the models demonstrate improved performance on tasks outside of their original training data, suggesting better generalization capabilities for specialized information retrieval.
