An AI “mind-reading” tool can reconstruct what you’re looking at based on a brain scan
Researchers have developed an AI system capable of reconstructing visual images from human brain activity captured through scans. By analyzing neural data, the model can generate visual representations of what a person is observing and conversely predict brain activity based on external images. This advancement improves the precision of brain-computer interface technology, offering new insights into how the human visual system processes information. While currently limited to controlled laboratory settings, the study marks a technical step forward in mapping the relationship between neurological signals and visual perception.
