Meta AI uses a second AI agent as a memory coach to keep long tasks on track

Meta has introduced a secondary AI agent designed to monitor and manage the memory of primary agents during complex, multi-step tasks. By maintaining a structured database of previous errors and successful strategies, this supervisor prevents the main agent from repeating failed actions. This development addresses a common limitation in current AI models regarding long-term context retention. Testing indicates that this dual-agent architecture improves task performance by up to 8.3 percent.
